The JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (one of the oldest junior tournaments in the country) was introduced in 1920 for girls 17 years of age and younger. With the exception of a few years during World War II, this event has been held consecutively.
ELIGIBILITY
Entries are open to amateur girls who 1) are 18 years of age or younger who have not reached 19 years of age by July 16, 2018 2) have an up-to-date 18-hole USGA Handicap Index not to exceed 14.4 under the USGA Handicap System, or a state or international equivalent handicap system, and 3) are not college or university students.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
36-hole Stroke Play qualifier to determine players for Match Play
Championship Flight - Low 32 qualifiers. Flight size - TBA.

Entry Fee - $170.00
Entry Applications are available online, payable by credit card/PayPal at www.WWGA.org

•Field limited to 80 players.
•Entries should be submitted early to allow for acceptance on a first-come, first-served basis.
•Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.
•Players will be notified of acceptance or wait list.
•Entries are subject to approval or rejection at any time by the WWGA Junior Tournament Committee.
•$25.00 administrative fee withheld for cancellations of accepted entries on or before June 25.
•No refunds for cancellations of accepted entries will be issued after June 25.
•A golf club affiliation is not required.
AWARDS
Icely Cup - Champion. The champion’s name will be inscribed on the trophy.
Ann S. Upchurch Trophy - Finalist. The finalist’s name will be inscribed on the trophy.
Medalist - Lowest gross score from the 36-hole qualifying round.
Marion Miley Bracelet - Junior player having the lowest combined gross score from the qualifying rounds of the 2016 WWGA Amateur and Junior Championships.
Medals - Championship Flight: Champion, Finalist and Semifinalists. Flights: Winners and Finalists.
